I TOLD YOU SO???
Nooooo.....not that Spurs would lose to Liverpool .....although I predict that ...see Friday's email....I didn't predict such a remarkably lacklustre performance by them??
No , no no, what I did also predict some weeks ago and everyone laughed at me was that Leicester , reigning Premier League Champions remember....could get relegated the very next season.
Well , I'm gonna change that to WILL get relegated !!
The reason I think is clear ....Ranieri has lost the changing room and the players just aren't up for the fight!1 It does help that there are some really crap other teams in the bottom six of the table who can play even worse but the one team I think that are up for the fight the one I can see overtaking the Foxes by the end of the season is Hull City, who by the way have CHANGED their manager and he has got them going and if it wasn't for YET ANOTHER DUBIOUS GOAL at The Emirates they could and should have got a point there too!
So my QUESTION OF THE WEEK is CAN LEICESTER SURVIVE AND IS SACKING RANIERI NOW WITH 13 GAMES LEFT TO GO THE ANSWER?? That's kinda two questions I know but you know what I'm getting at eh?? Get typing those answers and comments about this and anything else football related now !!
Cheers! Steve "The Judge "
RE: I TOLD YOU SO???
We do look terrible, but I can't see this same level of apathy lasting for another 13 games.
What I still believe will save us will be our home form. We do look up for the fight at home, and we'll have 32,000 fans there between now and the end of the season. What hasn't helped is that we have played Man Utd & Chelsea in our last two home games and lost badly, but have only looked poor when the first goal has gone against us, up until then we've done well.
Against lesser teams we'll pick up points at home. And with Stoke, Sunderland, and Hull coming to the King Power in the coming weeks, those are the games that will make or break our season.
Either way, if you had offered me the title & relegation 2 years ago I would have taken it. Its typical of the trials & tribulations of being a Leicester fan. And its still a million times better than supporting Coventry, who haven't had a top 6 league finish since 1971 (or thereabouts).
