CAN ANYONE LEAP TO HIS DEFENCE NOW??
Hmmmmm...isn't it boring seeing bloomin Chelski winning week after week eh?
And I'm not just saying that because I'm a Spurs fan but because for the sake of the Premier League season it would be good to have something resembling a hard fought contest no??
Still I suppose after 1st place it is still anyone's guess and the battle for a Top 4 position intensifies every week. Man United seem to also win every week but for some reason are STILL not in the coveted top 4 births.
But they have now overtaken the Arsenal after another defeat at the hands of WBA away which isn't that surprising but maybe the score line was, especially when you see they had something like 75% procession of the football....do they not like shooting???
I have defended Mr Wenger up until now by saying careful what you wish for Arsenal fans ....who do you get to replace him and would they really do any better?? But it feels different now , it does look like he really has lost his touch and date I say it but even Spurs might come above them this season and worse still he might not get his special cup of 4th place which he has made his own for 20 years... Strange that he said that he knows if he will be staying or going already but when pressed he hasn't told anyone at the club....that's just weird??!! But Arsene is the one running the club so I suppose he doesn't have to eh...
Anyhow the QUESTION OF THE WEEK for me is .....Can ANYONE see a case for him staying another 2 years and signing that contract in the summer?.... I would love to hear it!!
RE: CAN ANYONE LEAP TO HIS DEFENCE NOW??
I would dearly love Arsene to sign up for another 2 years to hear the constant first world whinging of the Arsenal fans about how dreadful it is to finish in the top half of the table all the time and be competing in many of the cups. Get a life.
Finishing outside the top four once in the last god knows how many years is really not the end of the world. My other hope is that he resigns, they sign someone else who is worse, sack them, sign someone else who ˜rebuilds" for a season and then suddenly two more years of Arsene will look like the better end of the stick.
Misery pouring out of the Emirates is as fun for the rest of us as watching a shirtless Newcastle fan crying at the end of the season. It's an institution that should be protected by Heritage UK. Either way he decides, it's a winner for me.
