    A FITTING FAREWELL

Yesterday marked the farewell to my beloved White Hart Lane, a very emotional day too, topped off with great relief with a win against Manchester united....you can't really ask for more can you?!

I will miss the old place and even, as I've said before the new one look's incredible, I do worry about what kind of atmosphere we will get and if it will be as intimidating as it can be or should I say was at WHL.

Anyway my two QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK are these...

WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF WHITE HART LANE?...and I leave that open to ALL supporters.

And my 2nd is this WHAT GROUND WILL YOU OR DO YOU MISS THE MOST AS AN AWAY SUPPORTER? UPTON PARK, HIGHBURY, MAINE ROAD OR WHIT HART LANE??

    Over to you guys....

    Have a good one everyone!

    Cheers!

RE: A FITTING FAREWELL My best WHL memory? And please print this so all the boys down the Brewers can read it and weep...seriously... it was on the 15th September 2013 and Liverpool won 5 nil, Happy Days. Posted 15th May 2017 - by Alan " Tank " S (Liverpool)

RE: A FITTING FAREWELL I do actually miss how our ground used to be and even Roker Park but the one I miss the most is actually Ayresome park for some reason. Funny old ground, but have great memories of The Toon playing there!. Posted 15th May 2017 - by Tom The Toon S (Newcastle United Man!)

RE: A FITTING FAREWELL I remember Steve you taking me to the White Hart Lane way back in 1995 or 6 and you took me to a couple of pubs where I actually feared for my life! You told me not to say anything too stupid or American!!?! It reminded me a little of a Jets Giants game but with a lot more alcohol ! The hot dogs outside were the worst I have ever eaten but you then treated me to of all things a smoked salmon bagel and I suddenly felt right at home! And what a game only a 1 1 level match but I was totally enthralled and I always remember the name of your guy Teddy Sheringham scored. A good day that sticks with me Steve.
